Berlin Winter Hop (06.-07.12.24) 
Join us for a festive swing weekend featuring The Big Five, Berlin’s best swing band, at two incredible venues! Friday night kicks off at Institut Français with Christmas lights on Kurfürstendamm, followed by a Saturday night party at the elegant Peter Edel Ballroom, with showcases and a “30s showcase competition”! 
Two Lindy Hop levels with Felipe & Elle and Valentina & Clément (Int & Int/Adv+), a Solo Jazz Open track with Elle (Solo Jazz Open), make this a must-attend event. Workshops are all happening on Saturday!

Before each party, join fun taster classes (from intermediate and higher) to get you ready for the dance floor and spark new ideas!

Intermediate: You have been dancing for at least one year and feel comfortable with the swingout, lindy circle, tuck turn, charleston basics, and other basic 8 and 6 count material. In this level you will build up your lead and follow technique, musicality, learn classic lindy hop moves as well as new more challenging material, and improve your styling.
Intermediate/Advanced +: You have been dancing couple of years and you can confidently dance all the basic patterns mentioned for the Intermediate level as well as variations on those patterns. There will be a lot of new material and different tempos to expand and improve your vocabulary of moves and technique.
Solo Jazz Open: is designed for everyone! Whether you’re new to solo dancing or already know your jazz basics, you’ll feel right at home. Beginners will build a solid foundation, while experienced dancers can refine their skills and explore new variations. Everyone will enjoy learning together in a fun and supportive environment!
